Louisiana Tech Athletics Hosts Historic Double Header for Women’s and Men’s Volleyball
On October 11, 2025, Louisiana Tech Athletics made history by hosting its first-ever double header for women’s and men’s volleyball, marking the official start of the men’s volleyball season. The event, held at the university’s home court, brought together fans, students, and alumni in a celebration of athletic achievement and progress. The women’s team kicked off the evening with a highly competitive match, setting the stage for the men’s squad to make their much-anticipated debut. Meet the 2025-2026 Club Officers
Joe Shockley
PRESIDENT
Joe is a senior from Oklahoma and a 3rd year member. He helped lead the club's B-Team to its highest win record along with their first appearance at the Nationals Tournament in Phoenix, Arizaona.
Marcus Smith
VICE-PRESIDENT
Marcus comes in to the 2026 season as a sophomore and 2nd year member. He is the first freshman to ever earn the starting libero role on the A-Team. This season he has moved into his new role as an Opposite Hitter.
Collin Tran
SECRETARY
Collin begins his 3rd year as a junior Outside Hitter. After beginnging as a setter for B-team his freshman year and a Middle Blocker for A-team his sophomore year, he now leads his 3rd and final season with the Bulldogs as an Outside Hitter for A-Team.
Landon Moore
TREASURER
Landon is in his final undergraduate year with us as a Senior. After playing for only three years, he has been a major contributor to the B-team's success in not only offense, but defense as well. This year he continues as an Opposite Hitter on A-Team.
